Heather Rankin has been nominated for the 2017 JUNO for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for her debut album, A Fine Line. Other nominees in the same category this year include Celine Dion, Sarah McLachlan, Chantal Kreviazuk and Mark Masri.
Released on April 1st, 2016, the record represents Heather’s bold first steps into the industry as a solo artist. Released via Cadence Music, many of the songs on this record were written with David Tyson. Lyrically the album is personal and reflective, while sonically it departs from Heather’s more traditional roots into popular and contemporary treatments.
